I am waiting until just before the end of today, christmas day, to post this. Why? As a type of symbolic, albeit functionally useless, victory against one of the darkest forces of universal, physical, mental, emotional, ideological, and spiritual genocide, to have ever stalked and claimed the collective consciousness of humanity as a species: Religion.
Today is the darkest of days, a day when the single most powerful, most pervasive, most destructive religious fable of the modern era, christianity, officially celebrates the genocidal death grip it has established and continues to maintain, upon humanity.
christmas day, the holiest day, a day of worldwide, sacred devotion to death, to suffering, to oppression, to the hopelessness of false hope, to insanity, to mythology, to deception of Self and everyone else. A day devoted to honoring terrorism and bullying and every injustice humanity has ever been able to conceive of, masquerading as justice.
christianity, the civilized religion of the 21st century, modern first world, led by amerikkka and the european union, successfully donning its mask of civility, as it functions within pure barbarism, entrancing and enslaving billions of minds and bodies, systematically destroying the minds of countless millions of helpless, supremely vulnerable children each and every year.
Lifting universal death for all to its highest totem, mandating the proactive embrace of death by the collective consciousness of the best educated, best fed, the brightest minds, the ones who could fight back and restore life to themselves and to all of humanity. Terrorizing and destroying their sanity via the threat of eternal damnation, and the intoxicating lure of a paradisiacal eternity of bliss in heaven, an imaginary place that does not exist.
christianity is ground zero for the universal destruction of all human potential.
Today, the hopelessness of humanity is proven by billions of individuals, billions of victims of the hoax, the con-game, the shell-game, that is religion. In churches and in homes across the entire world, a barbaric species of broken-minded savages beseech a mythological creature to grant them peace, comfort, joy, safety, and death, so they can delude themselves to believe, for one more year, that they are actually alive, and that dying is a good thing, something to look forward to, something that will make things better for them.
I cannot eradicate religion from the collective consciousness of humanity. I cannot. If I could, I would. Not to save any of you, or to save humanity from the extinction it has so well earned, but to try to save Myself. Only Myself, the god I have made, so beautifully and perfectly molded, from and into My own image.
christmas day 2017 will end, but not the nightmare of religion. That will only end with humanity’s last breath.
“It’s a strange myth that atheists have nothing to live for. It’s the opposite. We have nothing to die for. We have everything to live for.”—Ricky Gervais.
“It is fashionable to wax apocalyptic about the threat to humanity posed by the AIDS virus, mad cow disease, and many others, but I think a case can be made that faith is one of the world’s great evils, comparable to the smallpox virus but harder to eradicate.”—Richard Dawkins.
“The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.”—Richard Dawkins.
“By all means let’s be open-minded, but not so open-minded that our brains drop out.”—Richard Dawkins.
“Faith is belief without evidence and reason; coincidentally that’s also the definition of delusion.”—Richard Dawkins.
“If children understand that beliefs should be substantiated with evidence, as opposed to tradition, authority, revelation or faith, they will automatically work out for themselves that they are atheists.”—Richard Dawkins.
“Religion is about turning untested belief into unshakable truth through the power of institutions and the passage of time.”—Richard Dawkins.
“Faith can be very very dangerous, and deliberately to implant it into the vulnerable mind of an innocent child is a grievous wrong.”—Richard Dawkins.
“When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called religion.”—Richard Dawkins.
“Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by the rulers as useful.”—Lucius Annaeus Seneca.
“If anyone can show me one example in the history of the world of a single spiritual person who has been able to show either empirically or logically the existence of a higher power with any consciousness or interest in the human race or ability to punish or reward humans for their moral choices or that there is any reason other than fear to believe in any version of an afterlife, I will give you my piano, one of my legs and my wife.”—Tim Minchin.
“The essence of Christianity is told to us in the Garden of Eden story. The fruit that was forbidden was on the tree of knowledge. The subtext is, all the suffering you have is because you wanted to find out what was going on. You could still be in the Garden of Eden if you had just kept your fucking mouth shut and hadn’t asked any questions. Get smart and I’ll fu*k you over, sayeth the lord.”—Frank Zappa.
“Everything about Christianity is contained in the pathetic image of ‘the flock.’ “—Christopher Hitchens.
“My own mind is my own church. All national institutions of churches, whether Jewish, Christian, or Turkish, appear to me no other than human inventions set up to terrify and enslave mankind, and monopolize power and profit.”—Thomas Paine.
“The Christian religion is a parody on the worship of the sun, in which they put a man called Christ in the place of the sun, and pay him the adoration originally payed to the sun.”—Thomas Paine.
“The Bible may, indeed does, contain a warrant for trafficking in humans, for ethnic cleansing, for slavery, for bride-price, and for indiscriminate massacre, but we are not bound by any of it because it was put together by crude, uncultured human mammals.”—Christopher Hitchens.
“Thus, though I dislike to differ with such a great man, Voltaire was simply ludicrous when he said that if god did not exist it would be necessary to invent him. The human invention of god is the problem to begin with.”—Christopher Hitchens.
“Religion has actually convinced people that there’s an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever ’til the end of time! But he loves you. He loves you, and he needs money! He always needs money! He’s all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can’t handle money!”—George Carlin.
“Christianity: Killing people for 2000 years in order to force people to believe thou shalt not kill.”—Unknown.
“Nothing proves the man-made character of religion as obviously as the sick mind that designed hell.”—Christopher Hitchens.
“Two great European narcotics: Alcohol and Christianity.”—Friedrich Nietzsche.
“Religion is like a blind man looking in a black room for a black cat that isn’t there, and finding it.”—Oscar Wilde.
“After Buddha was dead, his shadow was still shown for centuries in a cave – a tremendous, gruesome shadow. God is dead; but given the way of men, there may still be caves for thousands of years in which his shadow will be shown. -And we- we still have to vanquish his shadow, too.”—Friedrich Nietzsche.
“Religions are like fireflies. They require darkness in order to shine.”—Arthur Schopenhauer.

“Religion has caused more misery to all of mankind in every stage of human history than any other single idea.”—Madalyn Murray O’Hair.
“All authority of any kind, especially in the field of thought and understanding, is the most destructive, evil thing. Leaders destroy the followers and followers destroy the leaders. You have to be your own teacher and your own disciple. You have to question everything that man has accepted as valuable, as necessary.”—Jiddu Krishnamurti.
“Religion has ever been anti-human, anti-woman, anti-life, anti-peace, anti-reason and anti-science. The god idea has been detrimental not only to humankind but to the earth. It is time now for reason, education and science to take over.”—Madalyn Murray O’Hair.
“Life hurries on, a frantic refugee, /And Death, with great forced marches, follows fast;
And all the present leagues with all the past
And all the future to make war on me.”—Petrarch
“We can accept God becoming Man to save Man, but not Man becoming God to save himself.”—Vernon Howard.
“It is often said, mainly by the ‘no-contests’, that although there is no positive evidence for the existence of God, nor is there evidence against his existence. So it is best to keep an open mind and be agnostic. At first sight that seems an unassailable position, at least in the weak sense of Pascal’s wager. But on second thoughts it seems a cop-out, because the same could be said of Father Christmas and tooth fairies. There may be fairies at the bottom of the garden. There is no evidence for it, but you can’t prove that there aren’t any, so shouldn’t we be agnostic with respect to fairies?”—Richard Dawkins.
